Ok to Increase Technology

Oh, thank god someone is saying something I agree with about this.
Large corporations that eliminated employees in the name of outsourcing and automation are now facing increasingly stiff competition from small businesses with access to these same efficiency-enhancing tools.
I sometimes get worried about such things and end up buying books upon books on the subject only to get alarmist rhetoric. But I like the above article.

One area I won't shed a tear on in automating, short term or long term, is this.

Yanbu Once More

I saw this, and though it is close to the cusp of admittance to the 70 picture count shrine I have for the city in my collection, I thought I'd just post it here instead.

I some times feel that I code in part as an homage or a tribute or a reenactment of Yanbu itself: its order, beauty, function... but in code instead of concrete and superb modern architectural design.

Yes, I'm biased. But I cannot deny how wonderful this is to me.
